About Us

Mindspire Services is a purpose-driven psychological and institutional capacity strengthening firm registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), with registration number as BN-3483489. It is located number 13, Danube Street, Maitama, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Nigeria. Our services are targeted at assisting individuals, organizations, and communities to realize and actualize their full potentials, for the general wellbeing of self, organizations and the society at large. We utilize a variety of empirically supported treatments models to transform adversity into growth and values into action to promote greater vitality, life-satisfaction, and well-being for all.

Our mental health programmes offers a broad-based human and social intervention services, principally to enhance personal and collective mental wellbeing. These services include trauma healing, counseling, psychotherapy, stress management, behavior modification, crises intervention, drug abuse management, psychological first aid, motivational interviewing, psycho-spiritual counselling, psycho-social supports and psychological assessment.  Others includes Human Capital Development, Training and Wellness for Organizations. The Firm helps people to confront different concerns with ease and confidence through various forms of interventions which empowers them to succeed.

 

Our Services

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Services

Our Mental Health and Psychosocial Support’ (MHPSS) programme is aimed at protecting and promoting the psychosocial well-being of vulnerable populations and prevention and treatment of mental disorders, for example, among crises victims or natural disaster, victims of gender based violence e.t.c. Our treatment protocol covers a wide range of issues which includes social problems, emotional distress, common mental disorders (such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder), severe mental disorders (such as psychosis, bipolar disorder), alcohol and substance abuse, and intellectual or developmental disabilities of the vulnerable population.


Trauma Healing

Our Trauma-informed care approach to care acknowledges that health care organizations and care teams need to have a complete picture of a patient’s life situation — past and present — in order to provide effective health care services with a healing orientation. We adopt the key principles of a trauma-informed approach in our treatment protocol which includes safety, trustworthiness and transparency, peer support, collaboration and mutuality, Empowerment, voice, and choice and cultural, historical, and gender issues. Our trauma-informed care seeks to realize the widespread impact of trauma and understand paths for recovery and recognize the signs and symptoms of trauma in patients, families, and staff; others include:

    • Integrate knowledge about trauma into policies, procedures, and practices; and
    • Actively avoid re-traumatization.


Addiction Management

Our experts in addiction management help individuals struggling with addiction of all kinds, such as drugs, sex, gambling, etc, through are comprehensive and specialized approached to addiction treatment.


Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy

We help, adolescents and the family with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including: Sadness, worry, depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, changes in the family, including separation, divorce, relocation, social skills and relationships, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral difficulties, school problems, parenting skills, family communications and boundaries.


Grief and Loss Therapy

At MindSpire Services, we believe that emotional freedom and health are directly related to one’s ability to effectively cope with grief and loss. Therefore, we aim to reduce avoidance of emotional discomfort associated with grief and to increase acceptance and tolerance of it. This process requires a unique set of skills that are learnable through therapy, including distress tolerance skills, acceptance skills, self-soothing skills, and skills to tolerate uncertainty. We specialize in supporting individuals to build these skills and to cope with both general and traumatic losses.


Data Services

We provide guidance on data analysis for individual and corporate research activities. We also undertake specialized validation and standardization of psycho-educational tools and research.


Research and Development Program

We provide ethical and logistic guidance to prospective researchers to enhance organizational performance.


Mentorship and Internship Program (MIP)

MIP provides individuals and students the opportunity to acquire skills which enables them respond to challenges of their work environment. Our mentoring provides long term training and supervision to clients and volunteers who have specific professional goals such as pursuit of higher education and placement in specialized work.


Tele-therapy Services

We enable clients who are busy or cannot easily reach the office from a distance to benefit from counseling services by Zoom, mobile phone, Skype e.t.c. Prospective clients will have to book online.


Life Skills Coaching

Persons with high need achievement motivation who are engaged in high professional, political or business activities also have an exceptional opportunity to patronize our self-enhancement programs to actualize their dreams and ambitions. These are offered both as individual and group modules through a highly interactive methodology, service provider-client feedback and unlimited opportunities for learning and growth.


Psychological Assessment and Testing

Our Psychological Testing Unit provides psycho-diagnostic services and offers clients opportunities to know more about themselves on a wide range of behavioral constructs such as emotions, personality, aptitude and general level of intelligence.


School Mental Health Programme

Good mental health is critical to children’s success in school and life. Research shows that students who receive social, emotional and mental health support achieve better academically.
